Hello, I am Keshonna Marlow, but you can call me Ms. Marlow. In 2015 I came up with the idea of ​​starting a tutoring business as a hobby, and seven years later, 2022, I started Essential Mind Tutoring. It took faith, guidance and time, which led to one was the best decision I could have made.

I am a credentialed Special Education Teacher and tutor with an emphasis on Social Emotional Learning. I have a Master’s degree in Special Education and have been in the educational field for a decade. In addition, I taught after-school reading and math intervention programs to both special education and general education students. I am social emotional learning (SEL), and Mental Health trained which is essential with working with students who struggle with emotional and social difficulties.

My gift is teaching and I am passionate with the work I do and the children I work with. I am dedicated to working with parents and children to meet needs that led to success. Most importantly, I will provide a learning experience to enhance students capabilities while building confidence and motivation in all students I serve.
